Where Is My Friendship Message?

Another member sent me a friendship request with a question. I accepted the friendship but have lost the question. How does one re-read a question that comes with a friendship request?

Gary,
It's in your profile..All I did was click on your user name. Evidently you can leave posts in someone's profile. I did not realize it either. Post is below.

"Hey Gary! Thanks for your help with our first post. How do you get that cool avatar of the US map?"

Thanks Mandys Man.

Please pass on to Andy I am not sure of the value of this feature. For the first time, I saw a message left for me in July! I deleted it. We have PM ability. What is the purpose of being able to leave this kind of message? The only reason I noticed it is that the author asked to be one of my friends. I did not receive a notification of the July message or the message you left.

There's an interesting explanation of this feature in the Friends and Contacts section of the FAQ.

You can disable this feature in your own profile (edit options) if you desire but some folks like this feature. It's just another way to communicate and for facebook users (for example) this seems like a normal way to message and somewhat less formal than a PM. I guess when it comes right down to it, it's all about finding a medium that fits our individual, personal needs.
