Why So Slow?

Why is there a time delay every time when you switch topics in the forum? No other forum sites are like that.

It's simple really. This site is probably a for profit site. Meaning the owner's use this site to make money. Those ads make money. But the admins here are kind enough to provide a way to make them disappear. Most do not.

There "should" be no difference between shifting to different threads v different Forums.

Yes, there are ads on iRV2. Like most all websites, adverts pay the majority of the costs of running the site...and, the ads are usually the bit slowing the loading of any page here.

You can "turn-off" the side banner in your user settings to reduce some ads...guests are forced to view that side bar.

Hope that makes sense.
