Why The Big Pictures?

There's another thread on here titled "ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS DEVICE DOES?"

Anyone know what this device is?

There's a picture in post # 1 that is about 10 times the size of my computer screen. Anyone know why? Do I have something set wrong?

If you click on the picture it should pop out into another window, that is actually the correct size for viewing. At least that's the way it works on my computer.

Thanks, I can do that but when trying to read a thread with the big picture in it I have to keep scrolling left and right. Is there a setting I can use to cause the pictures to display in a smaller size in the thread?

I don't have the problem with all posted pictures just with one every now and then. Maybe a helpful moderator can give me some assistance.

Viewing on a 15" lap top. Did you go to the thread I mentioned and the pic in post #1 was normal? If you did and it was normal then I must have something set wrong. Like I said, it's not on every picture, just some ever now an then.

I don't know. I left it on that picture for like 10 minutes and it never resized. I have a 75MB internet connection so I wouldn't expect it to take that long to download a single picture.

I've seen it on other pictures, but that particular one looks fine to me. It fits into the window of the post like it should.

Edit: Ah, OP go to your problem thread, at the very top of the picture there is yellow bar, click that bar - it will resize the picture.

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't have a "yellow bar" at the top.

Here's another one. The pics in post #1 are fine, the pics in post #313 are huge. Gotta' be a setting or something.

I got a great deal on a Generac Champion Generator today

I also have a 15" laptop, and the said pic was big like you said at first, then it resized! I have had that happen from time to time. I am using Microsoft Edge.
Try logging off the site, (iRV2) and then log back on! Sometimes the ad's use a lot of data, so it takes awhile for the pic to load! You can check you internet speed at speedtest.com
Sometimes it is your internet provider, just having a lot of demand at one specific time! Hope it clears up for you! Rail!

I also clicked on the pic again, and there is a yellow triangle with a ! in the middle of it, on the top of the pic, and it says, this picture has been resized, click this bar to make the pic bigger!

Well, when I look at the "big pics" on my tablet all is well. I guess that indicates that it must be a setting on my computer and not on my IRV2 CP. Guess I'll start with setting on my lap top and see what I find. Thanks all. I'll report back if I figure it out.

Turns out that if you have JavaScript disabled then the pics do not automatically resize. I guess I'll just keep JaveScript disabled and put up with the occasional big picture to keep all those auto start video ads from popping up on the right side.
