lets see.....
Buy a new DP in the 40+ length.
Buy an extended warranty full coverage for maby a 10 year length
Have my 10 acres developed (water, sewer, and electric) and put a huge all weather garage (at least 30' X 60') to park the unit and work on it
Buy a new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with all the off road stuff on it
Buy a lot in a warm climate state for winter a habitat
Whats left over would go for full time travel expenses as we full time traveled around this great country of ours

I'd host a West Coast Edition of the Mutant Grand Curiosity. Maybe we could schedule Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Kenny Chesney, and some of my good but starving musician friends for a few nights entertainment.

That should about cover it.

Very high quality, high dollar coach (not a Prevost or Newell...they are to glitzy for me) for around $600k, new "home away from home" pad $150k, new toad $50k, that leaves $200k to pay the taxes on the above purchases...hope that's enough.

If the cost of our existing RVs is anything to go by, I reckon a million dollars would get us an RV in about 96 extra countries.
We tend to go for quantity rather than quality.

Easy one......New Excel and Pete hauler. Use the other $ 800,000.00 for gas and campgrounds. Oh, if I had that today, I'd be leaving in the morning to go back to Alaska.......

Hmmm... I would:
  • Pay off my S&B house
  • Put in an RV pad alongside with full hookups
  • Buy the dp my husband wants with the floor plan I want
  • Get an enclosed trailer that will haul a Jeep & 2 Harleys- painted to match the coach, of course. (Have the Harleys, need to buy the Jeep)
  • Take a year (or two or three) to travel around the country
  • Decide upon and purchase 3 or 4 spots in our newly found favorite places

Oops, I think I am over budget...

Over budget is not a problem as I am in a position in life to make you a personal loan with a small introductory rate of 26.4% for 60 years. Let me know if I can assist you in anyway........

New freightliner hauler with all the bells and whistles, including full body paint to match the 5er.
Full body paint and stripes on the 5er.
A few high end comfort features in the 5er, just to be extravagent.
Of course full fuel tanks and RV resort lot rents.
That should take care of about 250K.
Have no idea how to spend the rest other than buy new coaches for the kids.

I think I'd have a used pusher MH modified for handicap access and use. Then I would contact the Wounded Warrior project management team and offer a one week trip for anyone + immediate family on their books. When that million was gone, hopefully it left a lot of veterans with good memories of fun and relaxation. I'm sure I would have many.
