It was so bad that we turned the sound down! Even our 24 year old son thought it was bad!

How about The Eagles? I try to keep my musical horizons broad also. Was there music tonight? I must have missed it.

I was thinking it would have been nice to hear Pavarotti do the National Anthem. But that's not possible any more.

The NFL doesn't pay for the half-time entertainment, and in this case they got their money's worth. All they pick up is travel and entertainment expenses.

OTOH, I was part of the pre-game show when the Super Bowl was played in San Diego back in the late 80's. We didn't get seats to the game, but the NFL bused all of us downtown to a hotel ballroom where we could watch the game on big screens, and the food and drink were on the league. They made a donation to all of the armed services that participated, it went to the services morale funds.

Due to the weather they might not have gotten a lot of rehearsal time. Audio was bad, Usher mainly danced to a sound track. I've seen better.

Well the best part of the half time show is it's been over for a while now at least long enough to forget about it until now

Terrible, what waste! Commercials were much more entertaining. The Superbowl half time entertainment producers obviosly aren't aware there are people over 40 that watch the show and game, or just don't care.

And I thought I was the only one that saw a very disapointing halftime show.
