It may be a t-top & the interior looks nice, but that hood isn't long enough for a "real" TA. I thought the same thing when the new Camaro came out a while back. Just not the same look....this, of course, coming from a 66 Mustang convertible owner.

How long until the remake of the movie comes out, and who's going to be the lead? Seems like that's about the only movie they haven't remade in the last few years.

The Tallahassee Auto Museum out on Mahan east of town has a couple from a few years back. Reworked Camaros, of course, as Pontiac is no more. Sad. I had a ball with my 1975 Firebird.
An updated Smokey and the Bandit movie could be fun. There was a short lived series several years back, but it just didn't feel right with the Dodge Stealth standing in for the T/A.

This is done with Corvettes also, putting an old style body on a late model frame.

Sequels are never as good as the original.
