Congratulations on your retirements. After reading the posts I decided to do my count. After 31 1/2 years only 431 days to go. At that point, I believe I never want to feel -40 again!

I am happy to report that my surgery went well on the 2nd. I get the stitches out on Friday and expect the doctor to give me a clean bill of health.

We brought the coach home from Freightliner (12 Month M2 service) and it's sitting in the driveway being loaded for the big trip. Lots of little tasks to be done, you know the list. I'm adding a rear view camera to the back of the toad, for one. DW wants to get it all done in one day. I have to remind her that other obligations keep us from leaving early so there's no rush but we have to keep a steady pace. On target for a June 1st departure.

Congrats Pepper2, How's it feel?

DaleM, you started this thread way back in January with only 40 days to go. How are your retirement plans panning out? We're all in the same boat - or should I say all on the same road together now. Ain't it GREAT?!!

Thom I am almost ready to go back to work. I have been busy as heck. Father and then father-in-law(trip to Illinois) in the hospital, we got a new pup (that's been a real work out) and then the normal day to day chores. Actually I'm lucky to have the time for all this. Everyone is ok now, so life is good!

Retirement and getting old is not for the weak. You got to be TOUGH. I don't know how a person ever had time to work. Too many things to do.
