We are presently celebrating (at Disney's "Wilderness Campgrounds"), our 55th. year of marriage. Congrats to all of you that have been married to the same person, all these years. We are a special breed of people.

5 years together

We had our 50th 2 years ago. As it was coming up she reminded me that friends on their 50th went ti China and another couple went to Hawaii. She wanted to know where I was going to take her. Not to be out done, told her that we were going to Burger King and she could have her own Whopper and supper size her drink and fries. Forgot to mention that she was knitting and do those needles smart when being poked with one.

Congrats! You guys are an inspiration...and unfortunately a declining minority. DW and I are renewing our vowels at Disney's Wedding Chapel April 18th. This will be our 25th....we are halfway there.

Each set of my grandparents made it past fifty, my parents are still going strong, and my inlaws were married until FIL died. We'll mark our 5th this April Fools' Day. I don't think we'll make it to our Golden, but we'll make our marriage last until I'm in Davy Jones' locker or he's in his grave.
