5th Wheel Destroyed By Fire

Riding around today and visited Randolf AFB Recreation Area.
Came across 5th wheel below.
Gentleman only on in the 5'er, no animals.
He is safe and has insurance.
Fire was started by space heater.
I don't know the date.

Is Randolph AFB still open? Dad was stationed there in 65 & 66. I went to 5th grade in a one room school house in Cibolo Tx and we named our poodle Lord Silver Randolph.

Yes it is still open. Also, there are two recreation areas at Canyon Lake. The Randolph side has a nice beach area and marina with many picnic areas. The RV section only has 9 sites. The Joint Base Fort Sam Houston has 30 sites. Not all are FHU. Randolph is FHU.

Pictures like this one...really makes one think. It's just unbelievable how fast they 'go away' in a fire.
