5th Wheel "Man Camper"

Due to the high cost of rent in N. Dakota, my husband purchased a 22' 1999 Tahoe Lite 5th wheel to winter in. Our 5th wheel Scamp, though light and stealth, doesn't have the insulation and inside tanks. She will be coming home to winter in Iowa after doing her duty all summer.

The new "Man Camper" is destined to become the portable hunting lodge once it's served it's purpose. No women allowed until it needs cleaned. I will be going out the first part of October to visit so I will get to see the "humble abode" and all the other campers socking it in for the winter.

Hi, Sadiebug!

If it ever gets cleaned, can it still be called a "man camper"???

We shall see. Rent is really high here with the oil boom. People have been doing this the last couple of years. We were in Montana two years ago and we lucky to get the apartment we had so cheap and guys were living in 5vers then. I am going out the first week in October to visit and get the "Guy Camper" outfitted. Greg will be skirting and insulating it so we will be taking the Scamp, which my husband has been living in since June there , deer hunting if weather permits. The Scamp will be coming home to Iowa after that.
