Saturday mornings with Captain Midnight (sponsored by Ovaltine), My Friend Flicka, Rin Tin Tin, and I'm sure there are others long since forgotten.

But hey, all of my fellow oldtimers forgot the one show we all seem to have to hurry home from school to see. Remember American Bandstand? Dick Clark of the perpetual young look just passed within the last two years. We all grew up watching his shows.

My first TV shows that I remember are Sky King (and Penney) and Mighty Mouse, but my two favorites to this day are still Carol Burnett and Laugh In. Not enough "funny" on TV anymore….
Anyone put aluminum foil on the antenna (rabbit ears)??

Mr. Zing and Tuffy

also watched: Fury, My Mother the Car, Soul Train, Paul Dixon Show, Another World (soap), the Doctors (soap not the current show) (the only one of the three still on is Days of our Lives. Watched all 3 with my foster grandmother), Sky King, Lassie, so many oldies but goodies.

My mother liked detective and mystery type shows so I got to watch a lot of Perry Mason, The FBI, Streets of San Francisico, Ironsides, Hawaii 5-0.

To the OP - I liked 'Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea' too.
