Hi All,

As I sit here with watery eyes watching the 9/11 Ceremony! As well as being someone who worked the aftermath! I pray for all those folks who lost their lives because of such a stupid and cowardly act! I also hope with all my heart that this will never be forgotten!! May God Bless and watch over us all, as well as watch and protect all the Men and Women of our US Military who are doing everything they can to right this wrong!!

Amen!

WE will never forget but it's also important to make sure our children and grandchildren never forget either.

You know whats messed up Al,seems not a day goes by that something doesnt remind me of that day.My Brother was alive then , we were working in a house, plastering a bathroom off of this homeowners bedroom. My cell phone rang and it was my Father. He told me to get to the nearest tv and turn it on.We watched as the second plane came in.It was the last emotional event in mine and my Brother's lives together.I will never forget that day,its bittersweet, as I miss my Brother.

AL: It strikes me to see three topics on 911 and so few replies with only a few hundred views. I have to wonder if people really care or has time taken its toll. Make no mistake people this is not over and never will be. As far as fuel,, you ain't seen nothin yet, cause right now you can get it but when you can't you will all be #@%&**+@. Don't think that because leveling the world trade center didn't brake our bank that those people who tried and still have members of thier groupe here are not reporting the effects of high fuel costs to thier leaders. No fuel no USA.

I like you 370 wonder about the few replys -- what I think has happened is that the press has sold all of us "about being politically correct" that people are afraid to say anything that might offend the press. We still enjoy freedom of expression in this country. I still think about the people who lost their lives to the mindless people that day and the senseless act that they performed. I said my prayers for the ones who lost their lives that day and for the surviving ones who still begrieve their lost ones.

MAY AMERICA NEVER FORGET THE ACTS OF THE TERRORISTS !!

yes i think about 911 quite a bit and what i dont understand is the medias political correctness. dont they think of themselves as americans, i get the impression at times they are rooting for terrorists. i would rather use abc weapons on the terrorists or the country who supports them rather than put any of our serviceperson at risk. semper fi

As for so few replies, there are many people out there who still are hurting from what happened on 9/11.
On 9/11 our town held a service to remember not only the wonderful people from our town who died that day, but all who died on that day from the terror attacks. We had about 50 people show up, which I think was petty good for a workday
I live on the NJ side of the Hudson River and each day when we are home I go out on my back deck and look to where the towers stood and each time I think of and say a prayer for all the soles that gave their lives that day.
As for my wife she watched with horror as the 2nd plane hit the the tower and witness people falling to their death. When she does come out on the porch and looks across and down the river she still get a tear in her eye. She is one of the many who may not reply to a post but, I can assure you, she has never forgotten or have a lot of others forgotten 9/11.

Speaking about forgetting, Rita and I and other family members were aboard the Yorktown in Charleston Harbor on 9/11 2008. More specifically we were in the Medal of Honor Museum located on board.
There were very few visitors aboard that day and even fewer at Patriots' Point where the Yorktown is moored. Flags were up and at half staff but so very few visitors to see them.
We intend to remember our Heroes again on 11/04.

God Bless and Help America
Jack&Rita
