That is 12 miles up the road from me.

Winter Texans are always welcome in the area. We have many campgrounds and they are filling up. Come on down and stay awhile and visit the tree in person.

Or, come sit in my back yard under about a 50 year old Live Oak that provide a fantastic canopy over the yard. I'll even let you trim it, for a fee. Coffee on me.

Wayne, I'd like nothing better to do than just that. We may head to the warmer areas this winter so don't be surprised if an older Adventurer turns up your driveway come February(ish)

You are more than welcome to come visit. If you want to stay level you will have to park in the street. Driveway slopes to much and I'd have to teach you how to run up on blocks. (hee hee!).

If you do get in this area, please do come by and see us. Send me a PM when you get close to see where we are. Typically that time of year we only take short trips around the area.

There's plenty to do and see in the area. I love telling people, "where to go."

It would have been so much cheaper and easier to cut it down. It restores my faith in humanity to see that stuff like this really happens.
