A message for everybody that's out west

If you ever drive out east and you see a sign that says "No Standing" that is what we in the west call "No Parking". I didn't know this until I saw a TV show the other day called Parking Wars (or something like that) and they were giving out parking tickets to people that parked in a "No Standing" zone. So I'm just posting this on here as a public service announcement.

Have a nice Day
Caveman Charlie

"No Standing" is an extension of "No Parking" that's intended to deal with the argument that if a driver is in a parked car it's not really "parked".

That's why you'll sometimes see No Parking and No Standing on the same sign- even out here in the Wild Wild West!

Oh, well you never see it around here. Shouldn't they call it "No Sitting" instead? That would make more since. When was the last time you stood in your car?

It's a parking sign. It says NO. That says it all.
