That is really strange. I got it from my DIL who did one for each of her children (children's version) and she created it on her MAC and sent me the link to play them. So I went to the web site and created the adult version on my MAC.
Your story about it not working on a MAC will not hold snow, melting. 
But I will say that your MAC is special. Maybe the kids or grand kids have it "adult proofed."
