Being a bit of a skeptic it's just a little too polished for me.

We either find ways to cope with the images permanently imprinted in our minds, or we lose it. He's found poetry and storytelling as his way of coping. God bless him.

Now identified as a "professional" story teller I can accept it a little better.

Bob was a great trooper who thru his training has probable save many officer's lives. He was an instructor at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy. Not only did he train our officer's he traveled across the country training officers in self defense. While being highly trained and receiving many awards for his training he is a better person. I am proud to have been trained by him and even prouder to say I worked for him and have him as a friend!

Most troopers are professional story tellers, only they tell TRUE stories.

I believe I have heard this story before.. And I know I saw the "Punch line" quite a ways back.

But then.... I was a dispatcher for the State Police for 25 years and yes, this kind of thing happens.
