This old Vet has nothing good to say about AARP. I will never give them a dime of my retirement check. They play politics too much and they do NOT represent me.

I continue to get stuff from AARP 10 years after cutting up and returning cards, mailers, etc. It just goes to trash now.

Don't feel so bad. My daughter gets membership beggar mailers from AARP and is very annoyed with them. She's only 28.

I reluctantly joined AARP last year after them bugging me for years. Thought I'd see what they had to offer. Still trying to figure out what I got for my $$ except renewal mailers. I was still debating, but this thread just made up my mind. For the $$ I can buy a couple extra fishing lures.
