I have been around RV forums for several years and seen many acronyms used. As well I have looked up many on the web using the various RV glossaries but I've yet to find the initials DSDP in any of them. I'm quite sure this a simple reference to a diesel pusher but I don't get the DS part and I have owned a DP for many years.
Somebody fill me and it's OK if you want to make me feel silly, actually I already do.

I've only seen it in reference to Dutch Star Diesel Pushers, so I've assumed that's what DSDP stood for... But I'm new to this...

Double slide diesel pusher was what I figured it meant. I've also seen 4SDP on one of the other forums (fora?).

I thought it could mean that, except some of the DSDP I've seen were 4 slider..., and they were all Newmar-Maker of the Dutch Star. Interesting...

Normally, at least here on iRV2, DSDP seems to be an abbreviation for Dutch Star Diesel Pusher. HERE'S an example.

So does that make ours a IHDP (Itasca Horizon Diesel Pusher)?
Or would it be just a HDP (Horizon Diesel Pusher)?

Heres one I use often:
"You've expierienced another PEBKAC error."
(PEBKAC = "Problem exists between keyboard and chair")

My son was trying to explain his mother's new computer to her. Finally, exasperated with all of his acronyms, she blurts out,"my problem is an OS problem!"
He looks shocked, and says,"This Operating System is the most user-friendly one to date!" to which she replies, " Not the OS-Operating System; OS as in OLD SCHOOL!"
