Every now and then I like French fries. Over a year ago I bought the cheap Farberware 3qt air fryer at Walmart. In the house I use the stove timer for cooking in it. I like the fries it makes with very little cleanup. I have found the air fryer liners mentioned above great for minimizing cleanup

Any of the breaded frozen items like fish sticks, calamari, tilapia, pork chops, you name it can be cooked perfect, faster and with less energy in the fryer. Wrap up a potato like you would do for a grill and stick it in for 30 minutes at 400, done. Pizza for one done in half the time.

I take a boneless skinless chicken breast. Slice a pocket in it length wise and fill it with frozen garlic butter. Toothpick it shut. Dredge it in a beaten up egg. Dip into seasoned flour or seasoned bread crumbs. Put into a Corelle bowl that fits the fryer sprayed with veggie oil. Cook at 350 till the breast reads 160 on an instant read probe. Perfect chicken Kiev for one over wild rice. Want two? Put two in the bowl. Cook time wise is about 15 to 20 minutes. Even with the exhaust fan on and the fryer under it, it smells some. But I like the smell of garlic cooking.

The second (new) air fryer is in the camper. I have one of those butcher block wood covers over the range grill. It is positioned so the back feet of the fryer drop down behind it. The fryer has yet to move on the road. When I want to use it I just get all feet on the board. That puts it under the exhaust fan.

Did 2 thick pork chops in the air fryer last night, PERFECT.

Glenn

Don't ask me how the chops were prepped, DW did that.

Now, now, Glenn what did Kathy do?

I normally do thin chops because they are cheap.

Made the best wings I've ever had in 35 min., just oil the racks to keep things from sticking! I've dehydrated mango, apple, banana and pimeapple. I've made falafel. Easy to cook in, easy to clean.
