is "Nothing really looks good on you". I said that to DW but she didn't hear the second word. I've been in the doghouse before, but nothing like her reaction to that. .

I gave a Brad Paisly CD to a Ex-GF a few years back and told her to listen to song #4 (everything) She Took it to her desk at her work and must have showed it to her co workers,.....then I got a call and she asked me (warned me) before listening to it if it was "I want to check you for ticks"
I said no that not it.

Ditto and I think she inherited it from her mother except I refer to it as selective hearing!

Somewhere there is a list of stupid things people do, you have to be near the top of that list.

This ditty might work better:

"Razzamatazz and a rooty toot toot, I love to see you in your birthday suit!"

Who's "Alan Jackson", and why is he writing songs for your wife?

For those who struggled to find the song that you were referencing, here is the You Tube version

I was amazed at the way that Amazon's search worked on the album.

DW is a huge Alan Jackson fan so I'm always on the lookout for songs of his that we don't have. The Songs of Love and Heartache album has several songs on his other albums but it also has enough new stuff that it is worthy of purchase. Typically, if it is a re-packaged CD, I just buy the MP3 of a new cut or two but there doesn't appear to be an .mp3 available of this one

BTW, "new' is a relative term. The Songs of Love and Heartache was apparently from 2009 and he has a couple of other CDs from 2010.

Thanks for the tip on the song. Sorry about your luck in using it the first time. I always admire a guy who is willing to put a noose around his neck and invite his DW to kick the chair that he is standing on away.

chasfm1, it was nothing lots of money and couldn't heal. " Nothing really looks good on you" was an unreleased 2008 song that made it into that album.

That kinda reminds me of the old Bellamy Brothers song "If I said you had beautiful body would you hold it against me?"
