All around bird view cameras

many of the new cars on the high end are featuring 360 all around view cameras. now I am not referring to the old four camera system but rather for cameras including out the front to give you a birds eye view of your vehicle in the center of the four cameras displayed to reveal other item in your perimeter area.

there are some very expensive and some very cheap versions of this technology. Has anyone purchased or tried out these systems

Got one on my new Benz. It is awesome. Nice when backing up or close to objects all around the unit. Also nice on the highway with several lanes, it warns you when there is another car on either side of you. Even in blind spots. If you signal and there is another car coming up beside you an alarm beeps to warn you. However the unit came with the car.

Blinds spots are hard to pick up even with shoulder checks, with the camera you don't have to shoulder check unless you are with a driving instructor who hasn't seen one of theses operate.

New Buick Enclave has sensors for sides of vehicle ( no cameras) but warnings, and back camera will turn in direction of backing up. Headlights turn with the front wheels showing further down a curve. All are nice safety improvments.
