Thank you for this, it shows a real teacher... I had a couple in mt life and the one who stands out like this man was my grade 8 science teacher in BC, his name was Mr Corra.

As for the 'lesson' this teacher taught his students, using his son, was really inspiring, these students will never forget this lesson or the teacher.

These souls are the easiest to love, and the most difficult to handle.
They are only given to special parents who are indeed filled with unconditional love....

Thank you for sharing...

Once again you have linked to a video.. I really do not like video links, they chew up bandwidth and they require plug-ins I do not have enabled.

Please describe what the video is about.. Thank you.

I must say that that man is one in a million. With all he has going on in his life he still has time to love his students. My son is a math ( trig, geometry, calc.) and I have gone into stores and young cashers se my name and ask if I know a math teacher named Robert ---------. Then I get a story about how much he helped them. Good Teachers are hard to find and when the students are happy to have known them they are a success. It makes me a proud daddy.

Thank you Francesca.

That link is much better than a video link.

Now two comments:

I agree, a very good teacher on several levels, For one he seems to be a Hands On teacher, demonstrating in a way that makes a serious impact.

Second, Well I don't need to go into that.

Now a reminder to all:

Many folks for one reason or another can not process video links, I can only do it on occasion and then in a different browser. (Easily done on this forum family if I think about it)

But this makes a TEXT LINK much better, Please, if linking to a story like this, either explain what is in the video, or do a "Video" and a "Test" link as Fran provided.

Thank you.

And now.. It's off to the DMV (oh the pain). renewal time

Thanks for the thanks.

In the future I'll still post what I get either as a video, or as a link to a video, or a link to a story. I don't specifically search for these items, I just have a vast amount of email friends that send me "stuff." What you see is what you get. If y'all want to do research and post links, so be it. I'm happy with that.

I really don't understand why someone cannot see a video. in this home I have an Android, an iPhone, iPad, iMac, PC Laptop, and all of them are able to view the videos.

Oh well!

A week ago I was in Edinbugh Scotland at the train station. I was with a close friend who taught chemistry years ago. He was stopped by one of his former students. The student said," thanks for being one the best teachers I ever had." The former student let him know she is now a Medical Doctor. You never know how you may influnce another.
