OK, I'm just an old geezer who's too cheap to pay for Amazon Prime! I usually don't need anything THAT fast!

We got the fire TV box with all sorts of movies, tv shows, games...etc. It's been well worth the yearly subscription.

I do set stuff in my wish list for a few days so I don't "impulse buy". So tempting to just click a button & have it show up 2 days later. Sometimes it even pays off as a vendor will drop a price while the item's been sitting in my list. Works well for those want vs need items.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Hi Joe,

We do use Prime quite a lot, sometimes for the quick turnaround, but mostly for the included shipping. In much less than a year, the shipping charges are enough to pay for the Prime membership.

I see prices go up far more often than down unfortunately. If I am really hot to buy something I purposely don't put it in my cart or wish list. It seems like the server offers you a good deal the first time you look at a product. I also try and find lower prices elsewhere and sometimes Amazon server price matches.

For me shopping is as much about the hunt as the purchase. I can spend weeks or months before making large and sometimes even small purchases.
