The real measure of wealth is how much you would be worth if you lost all your money.

Fire the union workers, put them out of work, and then require welfare recipients to pick up the trash for $1.42/hour. Nice work on the economy.
Doesn't look like they were fired to me?

How much do you really need? Do you have a roof over your head? Then you are blessed. Do you have rice in your bowl and you are not hungry? Then you are blessed. Do you have clothes to cover your body and keep you warm? Then you are blessed.
Do you have love and compassion in your heart? Then you are the richest person alive.

Very true - I too heard something similar to that a very long time ago...

I my mind, for the able bodied it is the catastrophic loss of the work ethic, and programs that have lost sight of their base purpose. -Me

If a man is called a streetsweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and Earth will pause to say, Here lived a great streetsweeper who did his job well. ~Martin Luther King, Jr.

Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle. ~ Abraham Lincoln

Hard work spotlights the character of people: some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses, and some don't turn up at all. ~Sam Ewing

Those at the top of the mountain didn't fall there. ~Author Unknown

Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end. It's not a day when you lounge around doing nothing; it's when you've had everything to do, and you've done it. ~Margaret Thatcher

Plough deep while sluggards sleep. ~Benjamin Franklin

If we do not learn the lessons that history teaches, we will relive them. - George Santayana

So is society expected to dip into their pockets and make that person 'equal'? Sorry, I sympathize with them and will assist but I can't afford to pay their way.

Remember. We may all be created equal but after the doc slaps your butt, you are on your own. You may not know it but you are espousing the socialist and communist 'collective' philosophy. Nobody paid the $50,000 debt left by my dad and my mom would rather have died than to expect someone else to foot the bill.

Wasnt gonna. Was lurking!

As we are the founding fathers of RV MUTANTS, you are sharing your wealth of knowledge with me.

When should we have our first RVM membership drive?
But we must have qualifications!
How about "if you aint quite right in the head, youre in"?

We should all donate our RV's to the homeless 15 days a year.

It's not fair we get to use them and they have to sleep on the sidewalk.

Cool!
Start a thread when yer ready. It will quickly go viral and become a new forum, and then we will be filthy rich, need to hide our assets, buy politicians, etc.
