It's so good to know that the Top 1% all got there through hard work and not through corporate welfare, tax breaks, or other unjust incentives provided by well-paid lobbyists.

I just posted the original video as a FYI type thing, let's all unknot our knickers and get on with life. I have no problem with the rich nor the poor and I thought the information worth sharing.

The thing that baffles me is that the very same people who get totally ballistic when thinking of the "un-sustainability" of the trajectory we're on regarding national debt, completely ignore the equal or greater "un-sustainability" of our trajectory regarding distribution of wealth.

Blaming one group or another is pointless - either we devise a reasonable way of compensating for the greater ease that those with more can get still more, or we face perhaps violent collapse of our society. Our progressive tax system is a reasonable way but obviously, at current rates anyway, insufficient.

I don't believe that someone should be paid to "not work."

After a hurricane in one of the states, there was a news broadcast where they were doing some interviews. A lady was asked how she was coping with finances. She said she was doing alright as she was on welfare. She was asked if she had tried getting a job. She replied, "I tried working once, I didn't like it so I went back on welfare."

It's sad, isn't it.

I have no idea where we(us/I) stand. I'm not on welfare, but I'm not at the rich top either. I guess I'm somewhere in the middle, and I'm retired. Love it.

I'm for redistributing everybody's wealth so long as I get most of it.

Otherwise, I'm against it.

When they do the redistribution I want to pick whose money I get. I have a long list of people that "I believe" don't deserve the wealth they have!
