FREEDOM... Pure and simple. We are always HOME when we are on the road. We have our dogs and our food and our bed and our freedom. We have camped in ''places'' where there are ''no places''. We have become a part of nature when we Boon Dock on the Alcan and we were two ''free people'' camping on the edge of highway 1 on the California coast road.

There is nothing like RV'ing. No other medium can match the experience the feeling of pure FREEDOM....

Been RV'ing since 95 and when death comes for me he will probably have to come find me somewhere on an adventure.....

A similar thread got everyone on board with all the reasons we RV. As stated in the other one, I traveled 25 years staying in hotels. Seen it all, won't do that again unless it's the last option.

Stayed in Duchesne, UT while on a motorcycle trip several years ago just because I couldn't ride anymore that day, 500 miles in bad weather. Wierd situation in that town, 3 motels all owned by the same guy. The room looked like it was a kennel that someone had ridden an ATV through. Mud and dog hair everywhere. I was so tired I just laid down on the bed with my riding gear on and went to sleep.
