Anti dog bark ultrasonic devices

Has anyone ordered one of those birdhouse looking anti-dog bark ultrasonic devices and had it actually work? We have a next door neighbor who recently acquired a lab mix young dog that just found it's voice and barks at any and everything that moves.
I'm thinking about ordering one of those ultrasonic devices that emit a sound dogs don't like and humans can't hear every time the dog barks.

The most of the several I've found on the internet have reviews that about half rate them good and the other half say don't waste your money. One had 4 1/2 stars out of 5 but trying to read the reviews it seems they were mixed and were talking about something else. Kind of like the advertiser loaded the page with good reviews from a different product.

Any way, has anyone actually used one that worked and did the job it was supposed to? Appreciate any feedback. We're used to sleeping till 9-10 each morning but get woke up about 7 when the neighbor puts the dog out. Then he has to bark in all directions for 20-30 minutes.

I had one a decade ago and it worked for my Rotty. It was attached to the back of the house and eventually stopped him from barking.

Thanks Tony. This situation wouldn't be quite so bad if the dog didn't bark at our side of their fence which is right outside our bedroom window. Sounds like she is in the room next to ours.

I had one.

Every time the dog barked it would hurt his ears and he would bark back at it.

It was just a vicious circle.......

My friend had one for his dog he was training. It worked quite well, you just had to hide the remote so they didnt know it was being done by you. Ever time the dog would bark, he would hit the button in his pocket. The dog would stop, and his ears would perk up. Do it each time the dog barks, but dont let them see the remote, or know its you. We found it also worked on the neighbors dog as well, but hitting the button to quiet down the neighbors dog was confusing his dog, and hindering his training. They definitely hear it, but we never heard a sound. Its a good training aid, it worked with his.
