Not sure what the significance of the white glove is. In Massachusetts A Mason is buried wearing a white apron made of lambskin. It symbolizes innocence and is said to be the badge of a Mason. When a new member goes thru his first degree he is given the white leather apron.

Thank you. I am aware of the symbolism of the apron and gloves in the Lodge. I am not familiar with the single glove in the funeral ceremony and have been curious about the significance. Our family was handed the other glove in a small velvet drawstring pouch and I have kept it safe and sound.
