Another member of the CLL club. Did chemo Jan-Jun 2011, and my numbers are climbing again. Seeing the doc in 2 weeks to determine what to do next. But compared to what a close friend went thru with breast cancer (she is 4 yrs out and still cancer free), I have nothing to complain about. Let's keep fighting the fight.

Three times with breast cancer

Family history of breast cancer. First time lumpectomies and five weeks of radiation. Had to stop treatment I was "fried up so bad" Oncologist didn't put my on Estrogen, mistake. Cancer came back in both breasts. Two mastectomies then chemo therapy. Plenty of complications and hospitalizations. Women get your mamograms. All my problems were found early on Mamograms. I may have had a bad day and cried. The next day I give myself a good kick in the but and say life goes on. Ten extra days in the hospital and 2&1/2 months of wound care at home. It has been six years and having all good check ups. Now I am treating for bladder cancer. Again following DRS advice for yearly bladder scopes. 0 grade tumor found and removed in 2017. Doing my bladder scopes every 3months for two years. Attitude is everything. DH needs me and my Daughter with Autism needs me. Prayers for all going through cancer treatment.

Fingers crossed for everyone!!!
MRI clear 2 days ago, next one in 3 months.

Soon times people ask 'How do you deal with this', to which the reply is - What there's a Choice. Keep the Positives going!
