Any RV'rs fighting cancer?

Just had my 6 mo. checkup, cat scan good, blood work good,no new cancer.I was diagnosed in 1998 with renal cell cancer, and lost my left kidney. It came back in 2001 in my lung and had a wedge resection to remove it.Since then been on 6 mo. checkups and CT scans.Still cancer free by the grace of God !! How many other guys and ladies out there fighting this terrible disease?

Yep! Just had a PET scan. Waiting on the results next week. All good so far. Sure not letting it stop me!
Matter of fact, after I see the Doc, leave the next day for 3 months camping!

Prostate Cancer. Just completed a series of hormone injections and pills, 25 sessions of external beam radiation, and then radioactive seed implant procedure in October. 3 weeks until my next PSA test, and will be getting full scale checks and scans each 6 months for a couple of years, then once a year for a total of 5 years, then probably again at 10 years. Hoping to be cancer free on all the checks.

For those who have lost friends / family to cancer you most likely agree the [Mod Edit] cancer shirts fit.

April 2019 I'll be 5 years old if considering day after all clear birthday as a co worker told me. Hodgkins lymphoma was my speed bump in life as I know call it.

At the time, it was rough. Also lost my mom & maternal grandmother to cancer.

Yup, 7 years ago squamous cell in the Sinuses - lost my teeth, upper jaw and nose, today you wouldn't know. Last year, squamous cell in the Rectum, finish my MRI to be put back together next month. NEVER SURRENDER!!! (So I think my Anal Oncologist doesn't like me.....everytime I visit her, she gives me the finger.......!)

I had my colon removed in December 17. Testing of the tissue revealed anal cancer. Since then I’ve had six months of chemo and thirty radiation treatments. During the radiation treatments, I would wait my turn with others who were much worse off than me. I hate cancer, not just because I have it, but for what it does to victims families and their lives.
I wish there would be a space race type effort to beat cancer. I don’t think there ever will be as it is too profitable for the healthcare industry.

I’ve had three squamous cells removed from my nose over the past 20 years. 30+ polyups cut out of my colon and a baseball sized cancer cut out of my bladder two years ago. See my urologist next week for my six month follow up. Cancer inhales with great vigor. I keep reminding myself, don’t let the basxxxds get you down.

I've have Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)...a strain of Agent Orange. My Dad died of carcinoma of the colon. I've said for many years, we need to direct the millions of dollars spent on Aids to cancer research. I'm not an MD, but I can tell you how to stop 99% of Aids. Cancer gets everybody.

The DW had a double mastectomy 7 years ago. Had lymph nodes removed on her left side. Cancer free to this day. Blessed every day.
