Neighbors up near my cabin had actually had their 3 yappy little dogs voice boxes removed.
I wish I could do the same to him. I don't like the yappy dogs but holy cow what vet would do that.

Dogs bark for the same reason kids are noisy and disrespectful.....
Because the owners/parents don't give a ship.

BTW, some "poop machines" are way smarter than their owners!

Back in the 70s, a friend of a friend's neighbor was ordered by the courts to have it done or get rid of the dog. Sounded like a whispered bark.

Palehorse... I didn't mean it is your job to find the problem... unless it is your dog doing the barking...then it is your job to find out why. Many dogs suffer from separation anxiety because they they are pack animals and when we bring them into our life, we become their pack, then we go off and leave them either outside alone or shove them into the camper/apt/ house and go off all day.

If a neighbor's dog is quiet for the most part except for when you are going in and out... remember that their rules are changing all the time... they don't understand the amount of space which is theirs to defend in a campground, esp when it is changing up every couple of days. Attempting to make friends is just a peaceful solution to a part time barker.

He would get a 1/2 bark out then a little yelp like sound. Within 30 minutes it was quiet! I left it sitting outside the trailer next to the tire 3 more days until they left. Not another bark was heard!
That is a great suggestion/solution! May cost $30 bucks or so = one nights camping, not much money really. No-one gets hurt, works everywhere, everyones happy.
