I was kind of wondering why I phones and I pads were coming out with a new one every month. It also explains all the grumpy people that line up for a couple days to get them.

Apple was going to come out with an iPod Touch that was aimed at getting children to use them.
Until someone realized that "iTouch Kids" was not a good name for the product.
