Just curious.
Thinking on line...
and attempting to light another 'karma campfire' in the process.
Just read on-line about this second annual 'Earth Hour' of lights out. Sounds like a great excuse to start up a campfire and ponder the stars with a glass of wine.

was over at the in-laws.

we put a fire in the fireplace, told the kids to play hide and seek in the dark in the basement, turned the TV off(missed some hockey for that), but left the lights on as we sat around chewing the fat.

so, in all, not a complete shutdown of the requirements, but we did minimize them for a couple of hours.

Had some wine, watched COPS from 7 to 8, then went to bed.

Lights out!

Well I turned the lights out just after 1900 hrs. (7pm) myself. But they were back on at 0300 hrs. (3am) this morning so I could be at work for 0400 hrs. (4am)

I missed it, so I had two glasses of wine tonight to make up. DW keeps most of the lights off most of the time. She considers a TV on in the bedroom to be a well lighted house.
