Anyone Know What Kind Of Shrub?

I inherited this shrub from my neighbor, but they don't know what it is. It blooms bright orange/yellow flowers right now and they last for about two weeks. I've attached a couple of photos for your inspection.... Any ideas?

Jim - off topic but I see your USAF Security Patch. I served 8 years in USAF Security in Greece, Japan, and National Security Agency. Good to see a fellow spook. 🤠😱

Not a flower... It's a bush that right now is about 6' tall. This is growing in the Puget Sound area of Western Washington. I initially thought it might be a form of azalea but it doesn't have a typical azalea/roddy bloom... Keep the guessing coming...

Jeff, Small world. I was an X2 - in fact, I was the first A207X2 in the USAF. I flew out of Offutt with the 6949th (1981-1983), but was also stationed at San Vito, Kelly, and Ft. Meade. Sounds like we chewed a lot of the same dirt.

I spent 1974-1980 in USAFSS as a 202. Two years at the 6931st Security Squaron at Iraklion AS, Crete and 3 at the 6941 Security Group at Ft. Meade.
We supported USAF RC-135 and U-2 flights and USN C-130 recces in the Med while I was in Crete.

I was a 30670 in GEEIA in support of SS, spent time at Korat, Naked Fanny, Kelly, USAFA, Rhein-Main, Wiesbaden, and 3 months TDY to Crete.
