iOS 7 broke a bunch of my apps - hope updates will solve the problems, although I suspect some of them (such as Bento) won't be fixed since they are no longer supported. Other than that, I like it.

Tha Rooster, If it seems like it's using too much battery, it's probably because it turned on all your location services, which you don't need. Open up settings, scroll up to privacy, find the turn off location services. That will greatly reduce battery drain. I like the new look and functions.

I love it. One issue was iMessage wouldn't work. Had to go thru a fairly long process but got it working now. Seems as tho a number of people are having this issue.

Apple seems to have gone for "Bright/Cheery/Simple" some of the mechanics feel more droid-like now. However in terms of appearance all the white seems to be the opposite of droids black. I like the simple design, Apple apps have a more linear/similar design language now. However some of the fonts seem a little "thin" with so much white space surrounding them. Makes Apple look more like its cartoon/videogame paradies though.

Installed on my 128Gb iPad 4, and it is great. Will wait for a while before I upgrade(?) the iPhone 4 though. Got burnt with iOS 6. Not sure about when to do the iPad 2.

Running it on iPad 2, iPhone 5 & 4S with no problems. I like the new apple radio. Just pick your favorite bands and it did a good job of keeping music I like going. Nice for driving. Watch for data usage with this if you don't have a big data plan.
Overall, I'd say iOS 7 is a bit snappier then when I've upgraded before. Don't sweat upgrading the iPad 2 as I'm on it now and it works great.

Just downloaded it.

I think it looks cartoonish, the app icons look like windows/droid, the notes tablet no longer looks like paper, it appears to be slower in opening certain apps, the bright white background screen is some app i.e. message seem to bright.

I do like that groups can be more than one page long but hate the way the group takes it background color.

Some of the animations are nice.

Overall it looks like a step backwards

IPad here. "Spare" comes to mind. I like it. Seems quicker and wfi hotspot logs in better.
