Appraisal for property tax
I got a letter from my county auditor that said they needed an a appraisal on my rv. They said they appraised it by the nada book and they have it at $228,000.00
I paid $188,000.00 for it one year ago they said it would not deprecate any the first year I called my dealer and they said it was worth $218,000.00 and that is what they would appraise it at.Is there anybody that can give me an appraisal on what it is really worth?I am thinking $150,000.00

Unless you have an "agreed value" insurance policy, you might consider calling your insurance company and asking them what they would pay on a total loss. In NO case should it be more than you paid for it, and typically you can expect a 20% depreciation the moment you drove it off the lot, so your figure of $150,000 is right on the money.
Perhaps the better question you need to ask you dealer is what would they purchase it from you for tomorrow!

If you have a bill of sale then that is what it was worth at time of sale.

Normally any property taxes are based on the price at the time of the sale. They can be challenged but only if there has been a significant downslide in the market. Is it because you are full timing in it or is that how you are taxed where you live. In our state it is done via the Vehicle registration and there is a slight decrease in tax each year, other than that no property taxes.

I would not live in a state that charged tax each year on a vehicle. If I did live in one, I would move, especially if I was a full timer!

What is personnel property tax?
I have not heard/seen that since the late 50's; I thought that went the way of the DODO bird.

In Florida, there is no income tax, no property tax and the renewal for your license tag is about $65.
If you are chained to your location, you are stuck. Otherwise, just change your domicile.
