I have been ready! Darn weather is messing things up. At least I can watch it tomorrow. When I was working, I had to sneak peaks on the internet to see what was going on.

I watched Richard Petty and Dave Pearson race in the south when I was
stationd in Virginia in the 60s.

The cars were alot more stock than today. And most of them had chrome
bumpers and real steel fenders. They were heavy but the large engines had
alot of torque.
