Arizona during winter months
We hear the most about folks that go to Arizona for the winter months... Can anyone tell us where they go? We are new to RVing since 2004.

We live in Yuma and spend the winter there. A lot of people choose Yuma for the RV lifestyle there and access to the surrounding area, especially Mexico. Yuma is right on the border with California and Mexico with Mexico being about 10 miles away. Lots of shopping, pharmacies, optometrists, and dentists with very reasonable prices in the nearest Mexican border town.

If you like to Boondock, a great and beautiful BLM spot South of Why Junction near Organ Pipe Nat'l park. Very large area with host and lots of friendly people. We have been going to the area for 6 years.

Rincon East in Tucson AZ...great park....Tucson has softball, spring training, and enough tourist activities to keep one as busy as you want to be....many planned activities at the park which you may join or not. We already have reservations for next year.

Quartzite for a week or 10 days in the neighborhood of the "Big Event," near the end of January. Easy to boondock in the desert and tremendous array of "stuff" for sale for RV'ers at great prices.

You can't beat the weather in Yuma, AZ. for the winter. A lot of nice RV parks also.

If you go to "London Bridge" some of the young girls on the beached boats wear very skimpy bikini's and your wife's repeated elbow's can eventually crack your ribs.

Winter rates are quite reasonable IF you search.
