It is a driveway but it only needs snow removal every 2 or 3 years. I used to use a bobcat but it wasn't getting used enough. Hence the snow blower. These pics are from a couple of years ago.

My water hose froze this morning for the first time ever, here in Victoria. I haven't checked it lately; it may be thawed by now? We are forecast to have a few cool days before warming up to our normal +6 to +10 C. ( 44F to 52F) for this time of year.

And none of our neighbours are armed here! A very big plus as far as I'm concerned!

I have the fireplace on and 2 aux heaters, plus the furnace, poor thing is having a hard time, closed off most of the doors, and it is still cold, 106 year old houses
don't do well in EXTREME cold, the basement is warmer than the house, but it is all closed in ... I am still snowbound pretty much and the truck battery is crying... we are more south than you and it is colder than up north...
I am guessing the cold front has settled in down here and Montana north is probably not much warmer, two hours south can make a big difference though...
Keep Warm fishn4fun this is the worst cold snap I have ever been in since coming to AB,,,, I have never prayed so hard for a Chinook..
