Bad day for Air Force and Navy, especially Navy

Earlier today a Air Force Thunderbird crashed near Colorado Springs right after a fly-over at AF academy commencement with president Obama present. Thankfully, that pilot successfully ejected and is OK.

Right now I've been monitoring the news, as a Navy Blue Angel has crashed near Smyrna Tennessee. They were executing practice runs in prep for the upcoming air show in Smyrna this weekend. The pilot did not survive. Just saw the Blue Angels in Knoxville in April.

It's a dangerous job and very exacting. Those folks are awesome. Hate to see this happen. Prayers for family of Navy pilot, and glad Air Force pilot is OK.
No other casualties reported which is good to hear.

Air shows are neat............but at what costs??

Disband the Air Force Thunderbird and Navy Blue Angel.
Use those tax dollars for other 'needed' activities vs 'showmanship'
Let PRIVATE entities handle the showmanship

X2 Prayers for family of Navy pilot, and glad Air Force pilot is OK.

We saw the Blue Angels in Pensacola, Fl 2 years ago. They put on an awesome demonstration and are GREAT pilots.

We also today lost three Army soldiers and six are missing from Ft. Hood, Tx. Accident happened while training during heavy rain and flooding.

All our military personnel live a dangerous life. I awaken feeling great each morning knowing our military was on guard protecting me while I slept.

My thoughts go out to the lost and their families.
