Bad Day in Wildwood FL

Not sure if I placed this in the right section or not but it was a bad day for people traveling north on I 75 through Wildwood Florida yesterday. We were returning home from the Monaco Rally in Albany Georgia around 1 pm and came across an accident just north of Wildwood . The traffic was backed up all the way south to the Florida turnpike and as far as the eye could see south of that exit. The Florida Turnpike was backed up for several miles as well. The accident involved a motorhome going north that must have been cut off by a pickup towing or carrying a boat. The boat was lying in the middle of the road and the pickup was directly in front of the mh broadside. Don't know what the cause of the accident was but the front of the mh seemed to be quite extensively damaged. If anyone here knows who was involved or who this member of the RVing family was please respond as there were a very large number of RV's going north yesterday ,I'm not sure if they were going to the FMCA rally in Perry or returning home from being in Florida for the winter.I sure hope no one was hurt and I hope every one made it to where they were going safely when the traffic backlog finally got cleared up ....Alan

...and why everyone in my coach must wear seatbelts. I was cruising at 50mph going north on 27 from Clermont to catch the Turnpike when a motorcycle pulled out right in front of me. To be honest, I don't know how I didn't kill him. This was with my Ram 1500 towing a 25' TT, and thank God no one was on the left lane as I yanked the rig to the left. Everything inside the TT was a mess.

We've driven though that corridor enough to know to stay on our toes. I don't know whether the Turnpike sneaks up on folks going south or that those heading north can't comprehend the principles of merging onto I-75... but you're surely gonna see some amazing feats of driving in that area.
