And I remember the 'Impending Ice Age' back in the 70z.
"Causes" are cyclical...............like the economy and stupidity in humans.

We had this problem in Fernandina Beach, FL. Exterminator wanted to know how we were getting rid of them, because he had never been able to get them out of our house (he was the exterminator for multiple owners of this particular home). Showed him what we were using and told him how frequent and he started using the same thing for other clients.

Speedy recovery........ But to add a little humor (medical humor, I'm an RN), our neighbor got bit on the upper inside thigh (get the idea?), he almost lost the family jewels....maybe you were a little lucky
Thanks, I guess it could have been worse. I just talked to a friend of mine from Canada and they came down last month to buy a condo in Naples. He was sitting on the couch talking to the salesman when he got bit on the behind... Poor guy can't sit down now. Seems like the spiders are taking over.

I know of a few people who can't sit down properly after dealing with a real estate salesman.

It had nothing to do with spiders.............

Hey, how do you think the word "Condo" got started?

Rednecks needing to get rid of their apartments said "let's Con do's Yankees into buying apartments instead of renting them out"....

With all due respect, MRBB:

No self-respecting Redneck ever lived in an "apartment".

(I know, being descended from a long, proud, unbroken line of Rednecks. )

Now isn't the shed out back also considered an apartment? Or is that a guest suite for relatives?

I just thought you lacked cleaning skills- sorry. Thanks for the spacious room though! Next time I won't use the garden to do my business. I can just do it in the guest room/outhouse.

Next time you visit, you're sleepin' with Grandma, and while she's a bit slow in some respects she's like an upside-your-head-bolt-of-lightning in others.... As fair warning, here I quote her Very Own Words:

"Grandma don't put up with no stinkin' shenanigans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

What did you use to get rid of them?

It is "Terra" something, in a blue and orange aerosol can. At Home Depot or Lowes. Sorry I can't remember exactly, been a few years since we lived up there and needed it. It really does work, just be sure you spray often so you get the hatchlings. Also, it helps to knock down the webs and dispose of the eggs. We did this with disposable duster things, sealed in a plastic bag and out with the trash. Good Luck
