I like Fat Tire amber ale. Brewed in Colorado. Its a good beer to sit down and have with a meal. Otherwise its good ole Bud Light.

When I sit down to have a beer or usually 6 I cannot afford any of the craft beers. My usual is Miller Hi Life, never Light, would prefer a glass of water over any of the light beers I have tasted. When I splurge I go with Shiner.

My current favorite is Red Oak. The brewery is on my way home from work, and on Fridays after 5, they have a brewery tour and tasting. They know me by name. Not sure where you can get it, but here in NC, it is very very good on tap in a frozen mug.

I just bought a Natty Green's variety pack at Costco that has some tasty brews. Might go get another one of those. Another local brewery, not sure if it's available nationwide, but again, here in NC its very fresh and delicious if not a bit hoppy for my taste.

For nationwide available tasty brew, I always like a Newcastle Brown Ale, or a Yuengling. Mex beer is good, a Dos Equis amber is always tasty, 'con lima por favor!'

Sam Adams is hard to beat. I bought a 6 pack of Redds apple Ale last week. My nephew said it was good. I drank part of one and gave him the rest. UUGG

It's not bad for apple juice.....

I just found a really nice nut brown ale by Old Magnolia Brewing in Mississippi....Southern Pecan brown ale.
And it is not pronounce PEEE-can....that is a porta-potty.

Dos XX, Corona, Amstel light, if I'm in light mood. Most U.S. beers, but never ever Bud lite or miller lite "gag". Good ole Grain Belt when I'm back in Minnesota just for old time sake.

Southern Tier Pumking is awesome! I have 2 cases for this fall, but I don't think that they will last. ShockTop pumpkin beer is pretty good too, but has more of a wheaty taste.

The best beer? Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA. Quadruple hopped for 120 minutes with an alcohol level of 20%. Slightly on the sweet side unless you age it for a few years which I have. BTW you drink it (or should I say sip it) from a goblet so that you can smell the vapors. 2 bottles and I am not going anywhere.

A guy named Ken introduced me to Angry Orchard Hard Apple, I love it the green label. It's kind of apple tasting, you figure..
Like Wizard didn't like the apple ale, I did drink the 6 pack though. Waist not want not.
I'M just learning about beer when younger drank American beer to skunky for me.
So I'M saving this site to see some that get high marks here. But nothing lite please I don't like diet coke either or fat free.
Really enjoy the topic..

So far my favorite is Westmalle Trappist Tripel.

Being from Texas, my daily is Shiner Bock.

Life's too short to drink cheap beer!
