It's also fun to get a bunch of the different Pumpkin Beers in Bombers (20-24oz) and have people over for sampling.
Samuel Adams does make some fine beers, have to agree with other postings on that. Sierra Nevada also has some great beers!
I don't know if you get Pumking (Southern Tier Brewery) out there but if you do give it a drink, you won't be disappointed.

Tonight it's Belhaven Scottish Ale and if our RV mascot Sparky leaves me any a little Old Speckled Hen.

I actually prefer the Hen - but it's my BILs birthday and he likes Belhaven. The Hen was first brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the MG. It really is a solid, traditional tasting brew. But that's JMHO.

Right now I am trying the Blue Moon Fall sampler, 5 different wheat beers in one box. Haven't found a bad one yet. Last year I found a Sam Adams Cherry Wheat that I really liked, haven't seen it since.

If you like Corona give Pacifico a try, I like it better than Corona.

I haven't been able to find it again locally. I may have to ask and see if it is available in our area.

The only time I ever bought Blue Moon, Belgium Ale, I drank part of one and then the rest of it went down the drain. I opened a second one and it was not very good. I poured the rest down the drain...what a shame to pour beer down the drain.

They seem to have a big following, but when I home brewed and I had something that off, it went down the drain. A true Belgium ale it is not.

Blue Moon is owned and brewed by Coors. It is a wheat beer in a supposed Belgian style but aimed at the masses. Most budmilcoors drinkers would spit out a real Belgian beer because their taste buds would be confused by something that actually has some flavor. Lindemans Framboise may be an exception here.

Americans have somehow been brainwashed by relentless advertizing that a fizzy yellow tasteless Pilsner style beer, chilled to the point it freezes your taste buds so you can not perceive the lack of any good taste, is the beer that makes you athletic, famous and better looking.

End of rant. Thank You for listening

Couldn't agree more! Amazing how many people still drink fizzy yellow beer with no flavor!!!

OMG Beer !!!!

Hello one and all,

I hope Im not stepping on any toes, I for one am not any particular type od beer snob, if its cold and I havent tried it, then count me in. I have been known to drink Killians, Miller, Bud, Kings Pale Ale, fat tire, Brown Castle, and a variety of local brewed brews as well, the truth of it is I like most anything Ive ever tried, I am also a huge fan of whiskey be it Canadian or Irish, and I cannot leave out Bourbons either.

Cheers !!!!
