As a school bus driver in Ohio, I've opened the fuel door on one driver's bus,.....shall we say several times. His bus is a rear tank bus so the door is halfway between the rear bumper and rear axle on the side. No way it will hit anything while turning
He didn't take it well. at which point I stopped.
He is also a mechanic and removed the latch and modified it so you MUST use pliers on the latch to open it now. (now it will not pass the Yearly inspection in June)
Our bus mechanic (Not him or me) is going to install a lock on it in a few weeks.
Funny part about that is that nearly all commercial gas door locks take the same key, Key # CH545 just like the compartment latches on RVs. usually #CH545 again.

Thumbs up Brothers

Growing up in a household with two older brothers I always had a target on my back (figuratively speaking). One prank they loved to do was sneak in the bathe room while I was taking a hot shower and dumping a large glass of cold water over the top of the shower curtain on my head. Talk about almost having a heat attack at 12 years old.

As I got older I did managed to pay them back however. We all got smart and started locking the bathroom door.It was all in good fun and we laugh about it today.

Siblings, you gotta love 'em

Mom was the best or is it the worst?

My mother really enjoyed April fools day. She sent my brothers and sisters to school with a sack lunch. Two pieces of bread "jammed" together and a bananna peal stuffed with tissue. Her best day was when she went into our insurance agents office (DBI) in tears telling him the house was gone. Dad was victum one yr.... his car was stolen earlier in the year and she had my brother move it around the corner.
