Conch chowder from the Green Flash on Captiva Island in Florida. Never had anything quite like it anywhere else. A close second is the lobster and lobster chowder at Thurston's Lobster Pound, located in Benard Maine.

On the Pier in Bar Harbor Maine. Boats pull up and dump the lobsters from the traps into the tank, you pick the one you want, and they cook it.
We had a four pounder and a two pounder, two beers and two baked potatoes, $18. Everyone told me the larger ones weren't as good but it was the sweetest tasting lobster I ever had.
That was around 1990 so prices have probably gone up a little.
