Glad to hear your feeling better. I fought the "crud" for week till I finally gave up and got an antibiotic from the doctor. Like Seajay I prefer a home remedy to help with symptoms. I use the old "hot toddy" mix: your favorite Kentucky Bourbon (Maker's Mark works for me - Tennessee, Scotch or Irish whiskey can be substituted), lemon juice (fresh squeezed preferred), honey (we prefer the taste of the Sue Bee brand). Mix in equal parts, warm slightly in the microwave. Sip, repeat as necessary. The lemon juice cuts the phlegm and give you a nice vitamin C booster, the honey soothes the throat, and the bourbon does what bourbon does, soothes muscle aches and pains and relaxes the mind (enough of it will make the mind to go rather limp causing some coordination problems).
