Blessed to be late

This weekend we traveled to western Kentucky to visit my brother. We had made reservations at Holiday Hills Resort. Friday night, it began raining heavily while we were crossing the WK Parkway so that slowed our trip down a bit. Around 7pm, I received a phone call from Holiday Hills that they were going to have to move us to a different site because a tree had fallen. When we arrived and went to find our new site a few people stopped to ask if we were the ones who were supposed to be on site 43. I said "yes". They said "you should go look at that". Well, this HUGE tree had fallen right across the center of the site. If our motorhome had been parked there, it would have been completely destroyed and crushed down the middle

Thank you God for making me late

Wow, it is amazing sometimes what the fates have in store for us.

Sometimes being late saves us from becoming a late being!

Glad you are safe.

There were two safe outcomes to this one involving an insurance claim while you were doing laundry or fishing during the bad weather. I think you took the better safe option. Did you remind the inconsiderate tree that it happened to park itself in the spot you reserved? Did it at least back in and properly level itself? Hope your new site is treating you fine!

Glad you were late and safe. People need to look around at the everyday mircles that still occur. Hope you have a great vacation.
