Buy this, hit the first bump, goodbye bike
I just ran across this item in Camping World's 2012 Master Catalog (pg.55). Seems like the photographer could have found a bike with a better frame type to illustrate this carrier. With its front wheel practically dragging, hit the first bump or gas station incline and kiss the bike goodbye.

I do not think the bicycle is properly loaded on the carrier... I used to use one of those type I use a different one now.

Wa8 is right, whoever chose that pic should have there head examined, clearly that bike isn't loaded correctly. That's how you'd load my bike, but not that bike.

Looks like all that's needed is to put the front of the lower bar over the top of the right arm of the rack...  Bob

Or rotate the tire ccw about 40 degrees.

Well last year I got this cargo rack with free bike rack, I used it for the first time and found out why the bike rack came with it free. This was only 5 miles from my house. Grant it , it was probably user error. But I haven't used the bike rack part again. I happened to see the front tire on the road as I was going down the highway. Lol

I had that rack for years and thousands of miles with no issues. Just load the bikes intelligently

For girls bikes you buy an accessory tube that connects to the seat tube and then to the neck, allows the bike to be mounted level.
The accessory tube comes off for riding.
