Well, that was a collossal waste of time and money. It seems that there is no way for a US citizen to have a narcotics Rx filled in Canada and anything that we can get is available by mail.

It was a totally frustrating experience. I am used to navigating with Google Maps on my ipad, but left it in the US fearing huge roaming charges. So, I was lost much of the time. My daughter asked me to buy some food items she can not get here and the grocery store uses a cart system that requires a CANADIAN quarter, which I didn't have. I bought some mandarin oranges, not knowing that they would be confiscated by US border officials.

So today I paid $895 for a 3 month supply of my pain meds. Costly, but cheaper than the alternative. Hopefully, I can navigate the Rx assistance program that Muddypaws posted before they run out. Thanks!

Hey OK..... Sorry to hear your experience in Cdn did not work-out as planned. I share your frustration with the grocery cart thing.... Everytime I visit the US they expect me to use US money!

Ya, the 'no insurance' price is wayyy outta hand. Whats funny is the insurance companies pay less than half that price and try to tell us different..
